Our story

My journey into Obedience and Rally was not a direct one. Corrie, my first agility dog, was aging and I wanted her to have another activity to keep her mind and body active through her senior years. This path was new and foreign, but I was determined to make sure her quality of life continued even when her body started to slow down.

Our bond strengthened as we learned new skills. I was lucky enough to be mentored by Rita Wolkiewicz, who has gone on to a Rainbow Bridge of her own, but her methods and details were strongly engrained in me and I continue with her philosophy in mind.

Corrie left me with a wealth of skills and knowledge that I’ve been able to teach Danna, who has excelled beyond my wildest dreams.

It is a testament to Corrie that we continue our journey to develop the skills, and successes, Danna and I have enjoyed.
